But........my QB I would seriously love to see Andy Dalton throwing to Ted Ginn and Philly Brown (and Greg Olsen), with Byron Bell and Mike Remmers at tackle. I guess this this year is going to test that

Alaois posted:normally i have flashbacks when names are mentioned like this but They were two DTs taken in the third round in 2011 (since Carolina didn't have the 33rd overall pick that year because of a 2010 Hurney Special). The only reason I remember them is because I was pumped that the rush defense was probably goingto get better that season (lol, it didn't). Fua flamed out pretty fast, but I think McClain is still in the league (Dallas?)

That, along with the two missed throws to a wide open Ed Dickson, give me great concern for when we play actual teams.

weird Asian candy posted:True...I dunno, Cam and that offense looked like a JV squad today so I don't know how much you can expect out of them next week. I'm not going to pretend that today's game was a good thing (at all), but there is no way in hell they are going to look that bad next week. I think Cam will have a chip on his shoulder, and the Panthers getting waxed a couple of times by the Saints should give them some fuel as well. There isn't any easy route in the NFC this year, so bring it on motherfuckers.

That Works posted:What worries me is that with the losses already and the fact that its win or die is that Rivera just opens up and stops being a conservative little poo poo and Carolina hulks out on us. They have the talent to do so when its clicking. We have the defense at least now to stop it, but egh. Gonna be a good drat game I guess. The positive for NO is that Carolina's WR corps are barren right now

weird Asian candy posted:Real talk...replace Funchess with Benjamin...do they win that game? I realize the offense took off when ghey dealt Kelvin, but I feel like in a vacuum he makes those catches at the end. Tough to say. Cam had the tendency to really lock on to Kelvin when he was with the Panthers, and it was to Carolina's detriment more often than not. Funchess being injured may have played into it a bit (like someone else said), but we'll never know.
