I think the Colts had a solid draft. A lot of defensive talent, an RB who should contribute right away, and a huge OL that they can use as a project.

So far most of Ballard's moves have turned out to work really well. A few misses in the draft, but it looks like he's had some major hits too. The FA signings have contributed as expected. Another draft and year in FA and the team should be back in the hunt for the division. Then another year or so for legit Super Bowl runs. But yeah, getting Brissett for Dorsett was a loving steal. And there will probably be the opportunity to flip Brissett for some draft picks if they want to.

Probably a couple of years out from competing, but Luck will still be in his prime then. But I don't think putting Luck on IR is the right thing to do. He's probably gonna miss a lot more of the season than what people hoped, but if he's put on IR, then he can't practice with the team. So even if he can't play, you wouldn't want to keep him away from practicing for over a year. It's not like his spot is really keeping any game changer from joining the team, either.
