Having played the first two God of War games, they are very solid but nothing to get very excited about. I've started into Bayonetta recently and that game has really gripped me in a way other hack and slash games couldn't. Perhaps give that a try.

That being said, I'm still pretty happy with my PS3 and Xbox 360. I don't think that cutting edge graphics make a game much better.

Well it kind of did. They have essentially taken Black Flag's naval combat and stuff, ripped it entirely away from the Assassin's Creed story, and made it its own game called Skull and Bones. And it looks great
