Let's start on a good note here with an inheritance tax cut which will clearly help fund the struggling NHS and expand infrastructure investment.

class war now imo

You to forgot to mention that English people seem to be really quite eager to vote for increasingly naked authoritarianism.

lol and all the original neoliberal guys worried that any more state planning would lead to the end of democracy
turns out no holds barred capitalism is entirely consistent with authoritarianism

Nah see carswell was a Tory plant and it is only once he leaves that skip will become a true party for socialism on a national scale (seriously, I saw a dm commentator stating that ukips policies were a socialists wet dream (funding for the nhs, nationalisation of public services etc) for for the uk only (no international health service, Labour))

Nationalist socialism, hmmm...

As an outsider I have a question - are there any "sane Tories", or like the sane Republicans in America, were they chased out of politics/into Labour?

A lot of people are true believers in the free market and think Labour voters are naive for thinking there are alternatives, even if they are 'socially liberal'.

How bad is it really going to get? Like is everyone just overreacting or is this really going to be as bad as people are implying?

Corbyn has defended the Venezuelan government, worked for PressTV and RT, and talked to Iran, Hamas and the IRA before. He'd get eviscerated at an actual election.

Farage is on RT all the time isn't he?

RT interviews and gives guest spots to literally anyone who badmouths the USA, NATO and the EU no matter how inconsistent they are with other people or even themselves. They'd interview Occupy Wall Street activists and then give spots to RON PAUL horde gold, kill your parents libertarians in the same segment.

Are there even any mainstream UK politicians they wouldn't host these days anyway? I think basically all of them dislike one of those things.

my sister is (or was, i guess, she's more critical lately) also a recent corbyn fan

i doubt she knows what neoliberalism is, but she's annoyed about spending cuts and privatisation

unfortunately it's basically useless to vote labour down here. it's probably more useful to strategically vote lib dem to try and keep the tories out instead
