Not only do you have to pay for the training, pay the cop at training, you also need to pay someone to cover the shift of the cop who is at training. should probably be covered in the academy, then have yearly refresher courses when not on duty. tourniquets or even simple pressure dressing to help mitigate some dude from bleeding out while you wait for the paramedics. maybe some more legal protection from being sued for rendering aid as well?
