What's that phrase or phenomenon where you're not fully sure if this is real or not and the level of satire or ridiculousness, especially given the current state of things, loops it back around to being believable?

Without hyperbole, I believe that if the media becoming discredited because all of this is demonstrated to be nonsense, that's the moment when Octavian Caesar sits in the consul's chair and gives the finger to the Senate. The death of the republic.

It's one of three things:
1-Obama illegally had Trump's phones tapped
2-A FISA warrant was issued to tap Trump's phones
3-None of this is true and Trump just make a wildly false accusation because he'll repeat anything he sees on the screen like Ron loving Burgundy.

I hope it's #2. It's probably #3.

Crime of passion vs premeditated and calculated murder as a statement of religious faith.

If you walk in on your wife boinking your neighbor and shoot them both, that's #1. If you hear a rumor or even catch them, then tie her up in the basement, buy supplies, and burn her alive the next day because she dishonored your family and god/Allah, that's #2.

If its already failing catastrophically then what else are you going to do? In the absence of that water that failing battery would have likely done significantly more damage to that beaker/floor/ whatever. Its an electrical fire where you can't remove the ignition source or the fuel. Your only hope is to keep it contained until the fuel runs out afaik.

The thing is, with a lithium fire like you see in these ecig batteries, water is fuel.

There goes the force.

We're going to have to hire a lot smarter recruits if you want to enforce that. Not to mention how easily that is misinterpretable: Does that cover private relationships? Should a husband and wife who enjoy playing hanky-panky over their phones be required to report the incident to their commander? Do we then also, if someone glances a nude on someone's phone, require them to report it?

While we need to go after these fucks who turned this into a force-wide tit show, you're really walking the line by suggesting nude sharing between consenting adults without force wide sharing be a UCMJ punishable offence. You are not going to legislate away sex via UCMJ, including photo swapping between two people.

However, what the UCMJ SHOULD cover, is people that think having a nude photo of a fellow Marine/Airman/Sailor is grounds for them to share it with all their buddies.

I'm reminded of the recent Air Force instructor pilot fiasco, where dudes were texting Miley Cyrus lyrics about drug use to each other, someone reported them, they passed all the drug tests and no evidence was found of any wrongdoing, and yet their careers were ruined.
