One of the things about this country is that you don't have to prove your innocence. And everybody pissed clean.

In conclusion, please always deal with cops with open empty hands. YMMV if not white.

Also, I can understand some of the delay in medical treatment, at least until another officer showed up. Step one is securing the scene, not providing first aid. However, once they determined nobody was hiding in the vehicle and that the dude was not a threat, there's no loving excuse for the next 3-4 minutes of him lying there bleeding as they stand around with their thumbs up their asses.

That said, he was goddamned FAST on the trigger. He must've already had his gun out...I don't get that, either.

And the other just expecting everyone to flock to its with no effort to draw them over. The Democrats' problems are EVERY BIT as important as the GOP's (because they gave us President Donald P. Trump), but are less glaringly obvious.

You're right, but at this point it's not about that. It's about gathering support at the grassroots level. Instead we've got DNC leadership refusing to rule out ANOTHER Clinton run. They didn't learn a goddamned thing from this election and it's going to keep biting us in the rear end until they do.

The Democrats appear to have decided to just wait it out. If things get bad enough, those swing voters will come back. That's not a goddamned strategy, and it's why they're going to keep losing until they start getting active and finding their own charismatic leaders that aren't absurdly un-electable like Bernie.

From the very last page, and there are plenty of public officials that like using DOD as the "perfect target" for budget cuts. We've seen it since 1992, and at some point we go too far, but the defense budget is still the big target because it's a huge amount of money and barring a major war when it's too late, there's almost no way to prove that we've gone too far.
