Hey so why is the wifi on this thing such poo poo? It won't find my network half the time, and when it does, the connection is so slow and unstable that I can't even update the console.

I'm never going to play this thing undocked, so it's sad to see that it's not a very good TV console. Starting to feel a little buyer's remorse. Zelda is good and all, but I could've played it on Wii U and been fine I guess. Damned if I don't want Mario Odyssey though.

My hot take on the Switch so far is that it's gimped as a TV console because it's spec'd to be a handheld, yet it only has like 3 hours of battery life so what's the point. Therefore it's not great at being either one. I hope time proves me wrong but man Zelda ain't even runnin' at 1080p and gets slowdown in TV mode. I'm perfectly happy to just leave this thing docked and only use it as a TV console but it's sad to see that games might not run as well on that mode. Even the home menu is 720p. Oh also the joycons are rear end. Good thing I picked up a way overpriced pro controller.

well why not posted:super weird that Link's Awakening isn't on it. It has eight other Zelda games in the VC. I just hope the VC on Switch isn't a trickle feed of releases like it had been on 3DS and Wii U. This is the console to start rolling on that service.

Even stood right next to the router with the switch in hand and it couldn't find the son of a bitch. Finally tried changing the security type on the wifi and now it seems to find it. Geez.

Out of that entire direct the only games I am going to buy are Mario Kart 8 and Street Fighter 2 and I've already played both of these games on other platforms in the past. Arms looks really bad. Splatoon is a no go because I'm not really in the market for a team based shooter. If I were to play Minecraft or Payday 2, Switch is certainly not the platform I would do it on. Other than that, get hype for Monopoly and Rayman Legends again I guess.
