Yeah Futaba romance is something I haven't even considered due to the creepiness of it. I'm otherwise undecided. Might go with Becky for maximum

I just brought up Becky as one of the more bizarre options. The journalist seems like it'd be the creepiest overall. If it wasn't for the psychological aspect Futaba wouldn't be so bad. She's a great character but it feels wrong to date her to me. I just managed to max out charm after the school trip so I might see how Makoto goes.

For the longest time I thought OneAngryGamer was a parody account till I noticed they were the ones pushing for the hashtag BurkaKombat or whatever.

I think they've hyped Kasumi up a bit too much for that. She's probably going to be the focus of the new event span, for better or worse. I hope the extra time helps Haru a lot too though. Haru is great but so terribly underdeveloped.

She does have a part that indicates that she probably will become an antagonist herself at least for a time. Most likely a misguided or brainwashed one, but an antagonist nonetheless. Would be nice if you started her social link before she actually joined.

It also helps that Makoto's S-Link really shows the two make an excellent team. I sadly haven't done Haru's. On a replay I suppose.

Yeah it's kind of a big deal that Sojiro even gave Joker a chance in the first place when his own parents didn't care. Also, the worse part about dating Futaba is the girl's working through her social issues. It just all comes across as creepy and somewhat manipulative. Some of the adult romances are just as bad, though.

Sony has adopted stricter content policies for games appearing on their systems that primarily appear to matter to Japanese games even in Japan. The current theory is that it's due to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where a LOT of Japanese companies have been toning down their more explicit media (they've even banned selling porn in convenience stores which had been allowed since the start of the industry there,) but the chud line is that because Sony HQ is in California it has to be the evil SJWs at work. EDIT: Sony is, of course, a HUGE Olympic sponsor and, while Nintendo has their hand in it too, I doubt Nintendo will be represented by anything except Pokemon, Mario and Zelda (and maybe Splatoon as it's HUGE there.)

Yeah I've seen so much bullshit from the usual crowd claiming that Hoshino's homophobia is completely normal and the way things are in Japan. Apparently the Japanese version of Royale also toned those characters down according to the replies to that thread which kinda wrecks the entire false narrative the bigots are trying to push.
