Additionally, I think Gaiman has a few skeletons in the closet (goth puns!). They both seem to be this vortex of narcissism and god I hope their kid has other adults in his life.

My friend’s grandma from the Dominican Republic learned English from a Frenchwoman and her accent was so loving amazing. The first time I’m actually encountering non RP British English accents is at work. I’ve learned to tell apart the odd English regional accents, along with other European countries speaking English accents. It’s real fuckin cool! Swedes are like 99 percent there with English minus a few quirks because sometimes subtitles won’t pick up on random cultural nuances or phrases or translate them real loving oddly. My dad learned British English growing up (thanks imperialism!!!), so he still says pram or lift and what have you. I speak Swedish with an accent as well and certain regional vocab, as I learned in the gnällbältet - The Whining Belt. It’ll come out if I’m drunk, unless if I’m surrounded by other English speakers. Then it’s the born and bred Lon Gisland trash.
