I downed one of them on the second floor of one of those houses with the staircases in the middle of the house. I lobbed a grenade at them through the second floor balcony door where I shot them then breached on the explosion. When I got up to the second floor they all were moving back into position watching the balcony door and I was able to pick up a 3k.

That's the biggest problem I have with this game. I want to wear a ridiculous purple jacket or the awful beige one but it feels like I'd be putting myself at a disadvantage by making myself more noticeable.

If you're in the last 2 or 3, is it worth it to drop your backpack to make yourself less noticeable? I was thinking about that based on grass chat earliers. If you're so light that you don't need your backpack at that point in the game, then just drop it regardless, but if you're carrying heavy, maybe drop some extra ammo and stuff you don't need because if it's just down to a 1v1, odds are you won't need 300 rounds of 5.56. More like 60, tops.

Is there a generally accepted rifle tier list? For lack of a better word. I tend to favor them like: SCAR-L > M4 = AKM > M16. I don't know if the M16 is actually the worst though.

I haven't had a chance to play since the new patch dropped. How do sunsets look? I'm assuming there are longer shadows to take advantage of? I'm also guessing clear skies is the same as partly cloudy or whatever the default is.

Some of hot drops can be RNG, but that's what happens when you drop somewhere with 5+ people. I've been dropping water treatment pretty consistently and I can pick up 3 to 4 kills and get a lot of good gear if I don't get smoked immediately. Sometimes you drop hot and don't find what you need. That's why new games start within 2-3 minutes after joining a lobby.
