Is there a good way to tell how to fire the Crossbow? Specifically, I have no idea what the drop is and I can't see bolts after I've fired. :(

They stick in walls, so you can shoot at a certain spot on a distant building, walk up to the building and see how far it dropped.

16 GB RAM, 1060, i7 6700, IDK what's so wrong with it.

Do you have an SSD?

I'm one of those people playing this game (badly) who has never played any other games in this genre.

I'm also super lovely at hitting people with any of the guns and can't wait for some kind of shooting range so I can get some practice. I'm also rubbish at determining where shots are coming from based on sound... maybe I'm just a garbage player. :v:

Just practice, you'll pick up all those things. For a 'shooting range', drop in solo, loot some weapons, and just practice shooting stuff. Quit to lobby if you run out of ammo and can't find any more nearby.

Were gas cans more useful in an older patch? It seems like every vehicle starts with a full tank and even holding down the turbo across the whole map I still had enough fuel to not worry about running out. Right now they just seem like a big mostly-useless block to hold in your inventory.

Seems like lots of cars have 1/4 or 1/2 tank when spawned. Gas isn't necessary most games, but it sure can help when you need it (out of gas far from circle).

Why are ACOGs so rare now? I could swear they were more common a few weeks ago prior to that last big patch.

2x might be diluting the optics loot, but also it is random and humans are excellent at detecting patterns even where they aren't significant.
