It seems almost like a bad idea to split the D2 threads on the basis of platform, but the things that'd be dependent on are still in the Rumor stage (cross-saving, release dates) and some things that are hard fact (Bone Krew unstoppable)

A day later and I'm a little sad that we won't have access to Venus or Mars in D2 until some expansion content drops (?), but it looks like the playspaces are going to be large and engaging enough that I'll be very happy with this leg of the Destiny 2 experience. I'm expecting this to feel a lot like Vanilla, and am half expecting a loot cave to be discovered.

The PDX-45 roll with PB/Rifled Barrel and Zen Moment looks mighty tasty. I have this feeling that Zen Moment works much better on pulses than I think it does.

I'm subscribed to Lyudmila and Arminius otherwise, and the Lyud rolls weren't great. I haven't seen the Arminius rolls yet, but hot drat do I love me some Discount Doctrine

Zen on pulses actually works very well but your first burst is still very sloppy. You'll lose in a 1v1 against the same pulse with CB and a range enhancer.

Arminius absolutely needs CB and with it the rifle is very manageable. It's one real problem is holy muzzle flash. The pro replacement Doctrine is SoulStealer from HoJ rank ups.

I consider my Arminius Muzzle Flash experience good training for when I get a worthy Doctrine or similar. Since it was what I worked with, I was able to manage. I 100% agree on the Counterbalance/Braced Frame need, though, it goes a little hog wild without a clutch of stability perks.

I'm cashing in this PDX roll because I feel like I lean heavily on Counterbalance as a perk, and it seems a little more skill-buildy than out of the box laser-y.

Banshee's rank up rewards are, imo, the best in the game: The reward pool is huge, and it's gun-only, with no possibility of armor, ships, or shaders.

The rolls for me have been generally shinier than that of other vendors, and to top it all off, he's the easiest to rank up; you just go shoot some guns somewhere for a while and bam, free guns.

Treads is a VoC with less stability and slightly more range. I have that exact roll and yes, Triple tap and Firefly are great fun on Treads. It drops with a pretty expansive perk pool, so tbh it's a question of just...whatever you roll with on scouts, and whatever's good that drops for you.

I have one that's Crowd Control/Perfect Balance/Hidden Hand that I favor over the TTap/Firefly one, but you can bet I like Firefly/TTap too.

I kept an NA3D1 from HoW (still best scout anywhere for its base stats alone), a Low-Down P-XIV, with RB/CC/CB, a Split Shifter Pro with a nice roll and good scopes (OAS+more), even though it TECHNICALLY blows, and yeah the BTRD.

Sometimes, on weird moonless nights, I mutate and spend a ton of motes re-rolling the scout and the btrd until I cook up a fun-looking monster

Destiny 1, especially Taken King, is a dead and gay game at this point, but the Hive speak in Logic, and it's kind of cool. You've probably noticed this lovely Hive Vomit graffiti outside the Court of Oryx; all the glyphs are either a Court of Oryx rune, or an additive 'combination' of two of the glyphs:

It took me a while to figure out where The Dick in some of the runes was coming from, but the Stolen rune provides it.
