OK, it's been a while since I last read this, but is there some kind of on-line resource I can look at to find whom is best to vote for in order to defeat the Tories? I currently reside in Vale of Clwyd. Sorry if this is out of the blue, but I can't seem to find it on my own.

Kegluneq posted:God this. I scribbled off my vote in the local election and spent the rest of the day worrying I'd hosed it up. Spent at least ten seconds just staring at an X today. I hear that. +1 to Labour in St. Asaph.

This is a bit cheeky of me, I know, but any chance of getting a selection of the saltiest political takes that I missed by A) packing and B) being in a drunken stupor?

Acaila posted:Holy poo poo that is really grim. I really hope more people were able to either survive or escape than it looks like. Also, hang the property ghouls who let this happen. There are times when you read about certain things in history, e.g. the punishment for the Munster rebel leaders, and you think 'yes, that is a thing to be reintroduced'.

Namtab posted:I hope people post good links. As opposed to the links with screaming children and also people making their last YouTube vid before they die horribly. That is my request re:fire chat. Forward them to the Tories who's policies allowed this to happen. I want them to be haunted by this for the rest of their natural loving lives.

Apraxin posted:This is probably the first of many (hundreds? gently caress, I hope not) accounts from people who lost family, and yeah, it's just ... really awful. I can genuinely see riots coming from this, once the shock turns to anger: I want to do something to Tories that if I went into detail would have me investigated.

So, anyone got a good list of Catholic and gay conservative MPs and a record of D.U.P. commentary on them? I think now is the time to bombard them with what their erstwhile allies think of them.
