Ainge not trading for George was the smart move and even though the Thunder gave up literal garbage for him I don't think the Celts were ever in a similar position. I'm still cool with laughing at Boston, however.

Since George may well bolt next offseason, and it still doesn't seem likely that anyone is getting through GSW in the west next year. Those two turning into valuable pieces is such a stretch, though. And worst case scenario George leaves and they get some more cap space which is fine because like you said it's gonna be tough for anyone to take down the Warriors for prob. the next 3-4 years.

Holy hell the Eastern Conference is even more of a loving wasteland now, I guess if Boston picks up Hayward there will be 2 fairly OK teams, but beyond Cleveland Boston & the Wizards that half of the league is looking pretty dire
