Or rather don't worry about doing anything super serious because odds are any dungeon/instance you try to do will crash out. Just pick a job that you think looks cool and do it. Do FATEs, dungeons, read up on Palace of the Dead. Tons of stuff to do. You have all that main story quest done so you don't have to slog through that. There is plenty more slog to do after that without having to go through 2.0 again. I know it's early in the expansion, but does anyone know of a basic write up for Dark Knight? I'm tanking just fine on Paladin right now but I can't ignore how sweet that DRK armor looks and wanna get in on it. I'm having a bit of difficulty wrapping my head around the Darkside mechanic tho.

For tanking right side gear stat choice, should I look for the +VIT or +STR variety? I do not plan on doing any content over normal from 60 onward. PLD and DRK if class matters.

Why do people rage/care about winning and losing in PVP still? The exp is the same either way, except the pvp exp which doesn't matter. The gear is useless except for glamour. If I could send comms to the team the beat our tits off in 10 mins or less at frontlines I would. I guess if you were still going for the mounts it might be a pisser.

I'm hoping that the exp change to pvp they're saying is the current value is the losers share because gently caress that poo poo if you think its worth it for less. It was good but the main reason for the boom in PVP was "it's not PotD." Just have to wait and see the numbers I guess but if I had to bet they are going to set it lower for 2nd and a pittance for 3rd, especially if you get slam dunked in 5-10 mins. Finally got a 3rd place finish. Here are my final numbers. At 59: 3,888,000 to level First place 302300 Second place 216000 Third place 216000 Yes, it seems 2nd and 3rd are the same and I believe are the same or maybe slightly less than before the patch. If you boost a class, does it auto complete the 1-60 job quests? I don't want to miss out on AF1 or the level 60 cache. I know I can buy the 60 stuff with hunt seals but who has the time anymore.

I have to admit, Nero has gone from "who is this rear end in a top hat" to my favorite character and having him as a future class master would be amazing. My previous favorite characters included Moenbryda and Haurchefant.

It's a ton more fun now that I'm 60 and have shire gear and some more options to emergency heal and get mana back. Brayfox is the first indicator to tanks that things are going to get a bit tougher. Then along comes Stone Vigil and pretends to be the semi truck from Maximum Overdrive with the gremlin face on it and plows over anyone not ready for it. poo poo hits HARD, and if you're tanking it at level you're pretty much using cool downs on every pack. Running lldr I'll still get put in parties to this day where the tank quit on a group in there.
