Despicable Me 3 is better if you make the small mental adjustment that the main bad guy is just Randy Marsh on another wacky adventure. I mean it's still meh overall but not awful.

Baby Driver is a loving amazing movie with an even better soundtrack.

Edit: Which I can also say is responsible for introducing me to the fact that the giant interlude in the middle of the live version of Stacked Actors is not just whatever random poo poo came into Dave Grohl's head, but is actually a cover.

Yes, though in your shoes I'd try to go to an off-hours showing in a few weeks when the crowds die down instead of waiting for the BR.

I feel like death, there's a loving club general meeting tonight, my co-project lead had a sudden surgery so I'm carrying all the prep work for this semester's competition which starts next week, I can barely find time to drive over and see my sister, aaweroihaposgpandsglkhsad;lifpaowiejfpoiawjfoijaspoidiajspjpoawijbvpoijeav

There's some hellish version of norovirus going around (at least I'm assuming norovirus since it's obscenely contagious and results in massive gastric distress) that manages to make you feel like poo poo off and on, so maybe you've got that.

At least they set the bandwidth limit to a point that very few people will hit. At least for now.

While this may be true, 1TB on a 300/30 connection is really easy to burn through. Stream some movies, install some games from Steam / XBox Live marketplace, send backups of all of that to Crashplan...

Rumor going around is Daniel Craig resigned for the next Bond flick which is due for release late 2018.

I wonder how much it cost them since he said something to the effect that he'd rather kill himself than play Bond again?

Honestly this wouldn't excite me much because Spectre was a mess. Shame because I loved Casino Royale, and enjoyed both Quantum of Solace and Skyfall.

Indeed.

IOC, is there 'one simple trick' to making QoS watchable?

Get a free ticket to a showing a vendor is putting on?

I don't think I've rewatched it since, but it was good enough at the time. Spectre was actively pissing me off with Craig putting in the lowest-effort "action scene" possible at the end. It was like watching someone play Counterstrike, but worse.

Yeah, you'd be amazed how quick a company will buy some new chairs when OSHA gets namedropped.

On another subject both my wife and I want to take a vacation but cant decide between Hawaii and Costa Rica. Normally I would be all about Costa Rica but the risk of zika has my wife really worried. Whats the real risk of contracting it? And whats fun to do/where to go in either place? I want to do beach stuff and get a sailfish or tuna charter. My wife likes nature stuff. I think we can reasonably afford $5-6k for the week, airfare excluded from the total.

Is there a thread somewhere else for this?

My wife and I discussed this a couple years back and went with Hawaii. Mostly because we ran out of time on the Costa Rica planning.

Had a blast in Hawaii and no regrets there, but Costa Rica is still high on the to do list.

Both of these games would benefit from a decent (ie $500) wheel, especially iRacing where you can be pitted against professionals who use it for training.

You can get by just fine in iRacing with a lower-end wheel/pedal setup, in the $200-300 range. When I win (or, vastly more often, lose) it's not because of my wheel.
