yeah i think the save was mis-attached somewhere down the line. the last save that was CC'd to me supposed to be Drones -> Believers, so that's what i forwarded to forums poster champagne posting. i PM'd improbable lobster so i think we can get this figured out. anyways, i hope everyone had a good summer. i went on a canoe trip, which was very pleasant way to reject computer.

im starting to feel like this is my fault. i hosed up the save when i sent it on 27/07 (selected save instead of save+exit which ticked it over to the next turn). i did mention this in the email when i sent the save: maybe we need to roll-back to the save to the one Luigi30 sent me on July 9th? for those playing at home: we're all CC'ing Glorgnole on the save e-mails as they're the GM so they'll have a complete record of all the saves for the PBEM game so far.

Pile Of Garbage posted:im starting to feel like this is my fault. i hosed up the save when i sent it on 27/07 (selected save instead of save+exit which ticked it over to the next turn). i did mention this in the email when i sent the save: well originally i was thinking that it was just a question of sending the right file attachment, but it looks like something got a little more screwed up than that. the last save you sent to the Drones was from game year 2254. after them it should have gone to the Believers, then the Spartans, and then the Pirates. the pirates have the first turn of the year, so by the time it gets to them it's 2255. however, when I open up the save the Drones (forums poster Improbable Lobster) sent to the Believers, it's prompting me for the Pirates password and the game year is 2255. somehow the game skipped the Believers and the Pirates. i checked by loading the save and they didn't get eliminated as factions within the game (which i guess is possible using the cheat menu) so i'm going to say it's a game bug. we had something like that happen a couple years ago where anthonypants of the Spartans accidentally deleted every scout patrol in the game. **Pile of Garbage**: let's roll back the clock and have the Drones redo their turn. could you re-send Improbable Lobster their last save? did anything weird happen during your turn?
