I'd be completely OK if the next GTA is Online 2 and they never bother with the single-player part ever again: there's other SP open world car stealy shooty games out there, some of which improve on GTA 5. However, there's nothing quite as detailed and expansive for multiplayer as GTA Online. Right now, its very clear that in a lot of cases in Online they're limited to hacking new stuff in in ways the systems were not originally meant to support, but imagine what Rockstar could do if they built for Online and planned for player-owned businesses from the ground up. That Chinatown drug dealing thing you guys talk about, OJ mode, Cops & Crooks, Adversary modes with scoring other than 'first to 2 rounds wins' - who knows how much is missing because they want to do it but can't? I mean gently caress, it took them 3 years of Online to figure out how to add different ammo types to guns and that whole system is still clunky as hell.

I used to give out the advice that all you needed to Still a super cheap investment though! If the bike life is for you then you can take it further by getting a basic clubhouse filled with 10 Bati 801s. That's under 300k and lets you chain summon bikes that regen your health while riding them right next to you so you never have to walk to your next victim. If your tastes are more PVE get an Armoured Kuruma after the high end apt, nothing helps grinding like being bulletproof.

Hunter is good for groups as its one of the few air vehicles that gets much stronger with a copilot. If all 3-4 of you want to roll in the same vehicle (and you want something that isn't a Buzzard for a change), I hear the Tula is fun? Comedy option: Bombushka

On supercars, Zesty's right that there's no real consensus on 'best' (there are some that are duds, though). The differences at the top end won't really matter matter until you've unlocked all the tuning upgrades anyway. If you want a beginner's recommendation, the Zentorno has a lot of performance for a fairly reasonable price compared to the competition. If you're into motorbikes instead of cars, the Bati 801 is a superb starting place (e: it's literally $9k, ie loose change). I really recommend a controller for riding though! FYI, GTA lets you use whatever control methods you want so you can freely and instantly switch between controller, mouse and keyboard. Sadly, the days where you could rule a lobby with stickybombs/compact GL and riding skill are mostly gone due to power creep........but wait.... the Epic freebie pubbies don't know that

Stuff I saw in my 30 min pokearound: Membership for the new car meet is 50k, lets you use the facilities and start ranking up All the new cars are between 1-2 mil, you can unlock trade prices by ranking up in the car meet I saw an outfit that unlocks at car meet level 1000 Auto shop is 1.2-1.8mil, they're all in central/SE Los Santos. Haven't bought yet but that unlocks the new mission chain. There's a prize car you can win by completing the club challenge. The challenge I have is to place 3rd or higher 3 days in a row. Dunno how often the car refreshes, guessing weekly like the casino wheel? New collectible: USB sticks with DJ mixes on them. You can play them in car radios. Biggest news of the update: in the vehicle section of the interaction menu, you can now hide radio stations from the radial menu

They can't even reuse music and voice acting because, for example Ray Liotta's performance as Tommy Vercetti was licensed for a game called Vice City. They'd have to renegotiate to use it again in a GTA V DLC. That's not impossible, but any decent agent is going to ask for a huge amount of money for rights to put it in a literal billion dollar+ game So if you're putting in all that effort anyway to redo almost everything...why not just make something new and lazily remaster Vice City for people who still want to play that in 2021?
