Who is the British guy in the train (The blue lit narrator)?
It looks kind of like Ralph Fiennes but I don't see him on the cast list.

Here's a fantastic trailer for what could be a pretty generic creepy kid movie. Functions well enough as a 2.5-minute short film, though:

Has Orion been around recently? I don't think I've seen that logo outside of an old dvd for years.

On the one hand there's nothing wrong with that shot (although I think it would have worked better if Magneto was on the right hand side of the screen and the giant empty space was above and in front of him rather than behind him) but on the other hand the direction of that scene was shiiiiiiiiiiiiit

"Who the gently caress are you?" would have been a great line if it'd been handled better but loving hell does it land with a thud here, the timing was just woeful.

Now I'm just angry that they completely wasted Oscar Isaac.

I have a bad feeling about this... it looks like Scorsese fanfiction. I'm guessing it's going to be perfectly boring and average with a bunch of mediocre performances from incredible actors.

The De-aging doesn't look as bad as I thought, but I can't help but feel the same way.
I read Sheeran's book, and it seemed pretty loose with facts as well (he claims he delivered some rifles to government guys that ended up killing Kennedy, which makes no sense at all). Based on the footage of Kennedy in the trailer I'm assuming they took his stories at face value.

Also while I understand it's DeNiro, having him play someone who looks as Irish as the day is long probably wasn't the best choice. Is Brian Dennehey still alive? (Edit: I guess there is precedence for this, he looked nothing like Jimmy Conway either)

Are you implying that terrible trailer bereft of anything funny should have had me in stitches because the words "From the guys who brought you THE OFFICE" flashed on screen?

A lifetime ago, back in middle school, a classmate had a vhs copy of some movie with him in his backpack, I don't remember what specifically, some pedestrian actioner. He asked me what I thought of it and seeing that I thought it was kinda lame I said it was ok, nothing special. He took this a deep affront and barked back in perfect sincerity that it was "an action-packed adrenaline thrill-ride!" His taking to heart some review blurb/nonsense printed on the slip case blew my mind. You seem a lot like that kid.

I think he's saying he didn't like the office, therefore it's not surprising that you didn't find it funny.

The hell kind of Actions do you take after you explode on your way to space

quote:

At least some of the crew were alive and at least briefly conscious after the breakup, as three of the four recovered Personal Egress Air Packs (PEAPs) on the flight deck were found to have been activated.[31] These were those of Judith Resnik, mission specialist Ellison Onizuka, and pilot Michael J. Smith.[32] The location of Smith's activation switch, on the back side of his seat, likely indicated that either Resnik or Onizuka activated it for him. Astronaut Mike Mullane wrote that "There had been nothing in our training concerning the activation of a PEAP in the event of an in-flight emergency. The fact that Judy or El had done so for Mike Smith made them heroic in my mind."[32] Investigators found their remaining unused air supply consistent with the expected consumption during the 2-minute-and-45-second post-breakup trajectory.

While analyzing the wreckage, investigators discovered that several electrical system switches on pilot Mike Smith's right-hand panel had been moved from their usual launch positions. Mike Mullane wrote, "These switches were protected with lever locks that required them to be pulled outward against a spring force before they could be moved to a new position." Later tests established that neither force of the explosion nor the impact with the ocean could have moved them, indicating that Smith made the switch changes, presumably in a futile attempt to restore electrical power to the cockpit after the crew cabin detached from the rest of the orbiter.[33]
