I'm getting all of this from google translated tweets, so maybe something has been hosed up in translation, but Insigne had an appearance on some hidden camera show with his wife that sounds messed up. She tells him that she's getting a role where she has a sex scene, and he didn't respond very well to say the least.

i don't get this, it's not like they actually gently caress chill dude

Pep to Juve?

Aren't they in a not great financial situation? Pep has to spend a lot at any team that isn't a golden generation.

Pep literally said yesterday that he wasn't leaving. How much is he making at City anyway?

I don't think they're having financial issues other than what I'm sure are recurring payments regarding the Ronaldo transfer. Their publicly traded stock lost a lot of value when they got knocked out of the CL but that's it.

i mean not great as in unable to afford to buy out pep's current contract, offer him the wages he would demand and buy the players he would want if the goal was the CL?

he spent 72m net at bayern and then 487m at city, when i said "not great" i mean "not able to afford pep and his new players"

According to the Sun, the 48-year-old is set to be rewarded with a lucrative contract renewal as he enters the final two years of his current deal.

Guardiola’s salary will rise from £15 million to £20 million per season if he agrees to the terms, earning him £100 million over the next five years.

Sarri: Kouli we need you to play left back tonight!
Kouli: okay, I'll be there, no worries.
*hours later*
Sarri: I meant we need you to play left back in the locker room *tosses cig away*

Nah they'll win at a canter and it wont even be a question. The players are too good, and Sarri, while stubborn, is a good manager. He got incredibly close with Napoli and they were pretty much inferior in every position.

And while it isn't serie a, he got off to a decent start with Chelsea despite the short preseason, so his system taking a while isn't a guarantee with a certain quality (at least relative to opposition) on hand.

Teams that have no representation in this thread:

I suggest Torino who's got a great manager, good mid-high table team, they play the Europa League. You could also go for Atalanta who is playing in the Champions League but most likely not surviving group stage, they play really well.

Other option would be Cagliari who sold their star player this year (Barella) but are spending tons of money on replacements (Nainggolan, Nandez, Rog, probably Defrel) so should be entertaining too.

i'm going full on for the Atalantas, imagine if they got TWO (2) new supporters just cause they play balls to the wall and their owner(?) (or fans?) paraded around a tank and a jet through the town in the past

Gianluca di Marzio is probably your best bet here; he’s got his own site and he’s usually very accurate in the transfer marker. Fabrizio Romano is another though he often tweets in English. I like Antonio Vitiello but he’s all Milan all the time.

I find la gazzetta dello sport to be the simplest of the sports newspapers to read and also the best layout on their website. Corriere dello sport is good too.

thanks, will check them out
