In the Delekin days mining was considered alien and ungoony.

Rorquals are the now the most profitable, scale-able income source. In edition to Delve being one of the best regions because of a combination of good true-sec and small distance in LY, allowing a supercapital to reach from staging to ~80% of Delve. That, combined with goons' ability to get newbros into KF, then give them the means of printing isk in order to inject into more rorqs, in order to print more isk, in order to inject into more supers/titans, has given them critical mass. As well as always having fleets/sigs with poo poo to do. The last thing cannot be overstated enough as what most other alliances are lacking.

It boils down to a normal day in goons can be:
- Join fleet.
- Warp between 1 to infinity rorquals to mine.
- Jump on comms and bullshit with fellow nerds
- If an enemy of substance attacks you, just call for help, light cyno, and between 10-200 capitals will come destroy whatever is attacking you.

Not only does this allow you to make copious amounts of isk, but also allows you to shoot the poo poo with friends or watch netflix or whatever.

Edit: I should note that this is the reason I don't warp to goon rorqs when I roam Delve, because it greatly reduces the amount of give-a-poo poo people pay me.

Explain why goons want the war to be called Casino War vs World War Bee. I figured the latter wouldn't point a bigger spotlight to goons and therefore more desirable anyway.

didn't you lose a titan on your first try?

Yep. It was given to me like a year prior to welp and I was having a hard time planning how to do it. Luckily Marsy from Bomber's Bar is the homie and hooked it up.

I actually almost lost it a few times. I was moving it from Aunenen. Cyno'd on to a freeport fortizar. Couldn't tether, so I warped to one of those swarm sites, aligned out and cloaked. Then I got distracted irl and went AFK.
Came back and I was tackled by a stiletto and an onyx. Since I was in a site, he couldn't cyno. I overheated my neuts and he dropped piont and I warped to a safe and cloaked. VOLTA and co were 5 jumps out, I know this because my friends in volta were like "you loving idiot."

To which I replied, "still smarter than the tackle" or something clever like that.

Then I moved it near to rekking crew the same night, which was apparently bad.

I moved it to lowsex and managed to squeeze my rear end into a small pos. Then when I logged in next time, I bounced off the pos with like 20+ hostiles in system.

I eventually parked it in Provi, then I warped to DD myself and my friend's nidhoggur for insurance. Apparently PL was roaming nearby at the time and jumped into local the same time my DD timer finished so i was able to warp off and be ready to bunce safes until I was able to cloak again.

THEN after PL kicked Provi out, I parked it in lowsex again on a citadel, which got bashed without me knowing, so I had to log in with a busy local, luckily no one had the old citadel bookmarked.

Last but not least, I moved it from Provi through Catch and Stain to Esoteria, which are all hostile regions to me.

It was quite an adventure to end with me not knowing single target DDs took isos instead of stront (because I only practiced bosons on sisi)

It depends on what you are doing with it.

If you are solo dropping (using an alt to tackle/light cyno) like Gulnar then you are probably gonna bling shield tank it so you can use lows for fitting and dps - but this is unlikely.

If you are dropping with a gang, you are probably armor tanking and either going full neut highs (kinda like what you have) or RReps + neuts. Mids for tackle and prop and cap booster.

Sidenote: One of the cooler ideas was making a new t2 BC (the only ship class that doesnt have two t2 variants) that can either inhib cynos, shut off current cynos, or something like that. Obviously, very rough draft of an idea, but has potential.

This still works, except either do it at like 300km or do it at 100km.

100km means they cant warp to the gate if they burn out

300km means then cant burn to gate is any reasonable amount of time.

When set up properly you could stop people at the edge of a bubble, like normal, but fully encompassed by a larger bubble.

https://i.imgur.com/FBujyfZ.mp4

The two T1 mediums were within 146-148km of the gate and acted like normal stop bubbles. The T2 large was 158km from the gate so the game ignored it until somebody landed. Once somebody landed they were ~40km from the nearest way out.

I know what you are talking about. What I said before still fits. You are operating on the assumption that you will get tackle on things that land, which won't always happen.

This is pretty much solo pvp. I dunno how new/experienced you are to Eve, but one thing I used to do a ton, still do to double check myself, is when i see a ship on dscan, Right click the ship in dscan and show info. By looking at ship bonuses/traits, slot layout and resist profile, you can kinda guess what they can be fit like.

Ex. If someone looks at the Incursus they know it 1) uses hybrids, which means its Kin/Therm locked 2) Most likely armor tanked, which means you don't want to shoot EM. You'll want to shoot Explosive, unless you think he filled his resist hole, then kin or therm. If you choose to engage him then you can check a few things like his speed, if velocity is over 500 m/s, he's got an AB. if he scrams you and doesn't web you, then his 3rd mid is a cap booster (most likely) and he now has the potential to be dual rep. If he does web + scram you, then he's probably just 1 ancil repper.

Basically, it's like a flowchart/checklist to learn.

Then when you go back to an alpha (F2P) you go back to half training speed. If you trained a skill during those 30d which is retricted from f2p, let's say Cloaking, you do not unlearn that cloaking skill but you will not be able to utilize it.
