I was one of those guys who only played one character (Falcon in Melee, Ike in Brawl) and I never got to play 4 so I'm kind of excited to spend time trying out all the different characters. 7 hours left.

Yeah if you come across one that seems crazy hard just avoid it and come back when you've got better spirits equipped for the task. No sense bashing your head against the wall over and over again.

I skipped Wily and 9Volt early on. Jeff and Pauline are also really bad on the main map. Most everything else I just tried to power through. I got The Boss on like the 2nd try luckily.

Also if you thought Pauline was bad there's an even harder version that only shows up on the spirit board, but at least you get to use items for it.

The autopick is useful for evening the difficulty for the current spirit battle you're in. It generally puts you just below the enemy power level so that you get decent rewards from the battle. I never used autopick for the support spirits and instead just went with my same core group, swapping in a specific one when needed.
