It was nice and hot and sunny over Easter but that probably means that we're all going to die. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZEfpFeGLSI We got a break from Brexit though so that might be a positive on the whole. Now back to regularly scheduled fuckery until October. What's Going On (thanks Azza Bamboo) Is that all? There's also some local elections tomorrow so you should go out and vote in those if they're happening in your area. Nigel Farage has created a new party called the Brexit Party and they're a single issue party whose single issue is UKIP has started promoting fash YouTubers in an effort to connect with the youth vote. The very youth vote. Carl Benjamin attempted to solicit child abuse images. The UK and the EU agree an Article 50 extension to 31 October 2019. No reopening of the withdrawal agreement negotiations is allowed and the UK "must hold the elections to the European Parliament" on 23 May, or it will be forced to leave on 1 June 2019. There's a party called Change TIG or Move ZIG or something but about three people have heard of them. Houses in Lewes got vandalized for having Labour, Lib Dem, and Green Party posters. Extinction Rebellion causes mass disruption and centrist handwringing in central London, resulting in over 1,000 arrests. They then do some centrist handwringing of their own. The Government announces it the 'porn pass' age verification system will come into force on 15 July (it won't). 29-year-old journalist and author Lyra McKee is shot dead in Derry, probably by the New IRA. Whether it was a deliberate targeting of journalists is unknown. Bahraini prison officials, led by Brigadier General Abdul Salam al-Araifi, are to receive brutality training in British prison acadamies. Tory backbencher John Hayes has blamed 'cultural Marxism' for the decision to charge former soldiers with murder over the killing of civilians, but has not yet been investigated for antisemitism. I mean, is it that hard to run for MEP? Considering the only people who get it seem to be anti-EU, surely it should be possible for someone to run and best Farage, even including the name recognition. Happy workers day everyone.

My favorite brexit scenario is the UK leaves on soft brexit terms with the ~implementation period~ set to expire right after next general election, which due to unclear results is delayed until after the next general election, so every general election from now on will be about whether to brexit more or less than you didn't end up doing last time there was a general election

Thanks for the poll, but I think theres a decent chance that Brexit doesnt happen by that date without either an election or referendum happening (or without regal canine intervention). More ludicrous delays are possible, and theres still the off-chance of a last-minute reversal of A50.

*tips beret* m'aidez What are people's opinions on Norcott? When he was first on the Mash Report he seemed like he was a leftie doing a bit mocking the right, but I've heard other stuff that would imply he's either genuinely right leaning or has gone full kayfabe.
