It's very clear that Barr is a loving snake. Democrats are smart to his legal technicalities now, so they want a lawyer to do the House's questioning tomorrow. This Senate hearing is essentially worthless due to legal squirming and senators not bring smart to the legal poo poo. For that reason, Barr is trying to get out of appearing at the House tomorrow.

Trump is basically telling them to take their subpoenas and shove them. I essentially agree that nothing substantive is going to happen, but Democrats are making noises about enforcing contempt proceedings with fines and lockerup, which has generally been litigated already as legit options. As it's 2019, nothing that funny will happen. Could be wrong though!
