Roman was a legit co-star in 2F2F, just as important as Dom was in the original. However 2F2F despite it's many important contributions to the series as a whole is legit low effort and ugly, and with the pedestrian direction, out of all of them it's the closest to looking like a straight up TV movie or low budget direct to video shlock, even at twice the budget of the first. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJgRHSwhBTc Especially notable since Tokyo Drift came after it and looked far better on nearly the same budget.
