Goddamn cat has developed a new bad habit of wanting to sit under the bed in the back bedroom more-or-less specifically to spook the dog. The dog is very much afraid of the cat, which basically means the dog avoids the cat as much as possible. I work in there, so the dog hangs with me most of the day. This is also where the dog sleeps with the door closed so that the cat can wander and not stress out the dog. Well last night the cat snuck into the room without us noticing and hid under the bed, so we put the dog to bed not knowing he was in there. Cat was cool with this, dog was not. Cat starts meowing to get fed at breakfast and we realize "oh poo poo, the cat has been in the bedroom all night." The poor dog was curled up in a corner under the bed, sees me, sprints out of the bedroom, then stress pukes. Now he's happy as a clam like usual, but cat why can't you leave the dog alone!! I know the answer is "because cat"

Tons of board game adaptations are available, most of which include bots. Left 4 Dead is still fun and good co-op. Don't Starve has co-op. Streets of Rogue can get real goofy real quick.

Poor Ziggy got real spooked today. Another dog got loose from their collar and tried to attack him. Other owner had their boxer off the sidewalk, standing over it with the dog between her legs, leash looked to be in a good position. We got past them and the boxer must have slipped through their collar . Got a few nips on Ziggy before I could get between them and the owner could literally tackle their dog. No blood drawn, no problem. Felt bad for the woman because it looked like they were doing everything right and the collar was just a bit too loose. And yeah, today has not been fun. Barely slept last night for unknown reasons, and this week I'm doing a pretty serious elimination diet because my girlfriend has to. Basically just meat and vegetables for the next week. And no booze.
