He was quite a character to say the least. His politics were hard to figure out but my take from the doco was that he veered from anti-imperialist to nationalist/fascist and back again over his life. Posting about it here because I suspect his work may have been part of the inspiration behind some of the art in Disco Elysium, in particular the art for Authority: No I'm pretty sure that's Barnacle Jim (RIP)  The long face of the law.

Finishing up my final cut playthrough, and I realized that I have a problem with hoarding skill points. I basically beelined all the good +xp thoughts and then never used any points unless I wanted to add a thought or unlock a failed check. So I think I'm gonna try a playthrough where I spend them as I get them. I wonder if it would be more interesting if there was a cap on the amount of skill points you could hold on to?

Yeah unfortunately some white checks that are unresolved but also become unavailable will stay on your map forever. Like if you open up the trash dumpster with Garte's key, the check for forcing it open with the prybar will still be there.
