Every other suggested video I'm getting on YouTube is loving Steven Crowder or Ben Shapiro and a whole litany of minor goofy fronts for white supremacy and it really seems to be getting through to people, at least here in Australia. That's a shame, I wish Australia could go back to the time before YouTube when all races lived together in harmony

I'm blaming you cunts - someone ITT got me thinking about installing a bidet attachment on my toilet, so I went "hmm" and poked the inlet valve on the cistern with one finger to which it responded by leaking from about 5 different places. Luckily got it isolated but it's the only jacks atm so the plumber is coming out on a bank holiday. And it's all your loving faults All I wanted was a clean bum

I just started cooking up the broccoli stalk after decades of throwing it away. It doesn't taste delish like the florets, just kinda plain, but if you peel it and slice it thin it becomes a great flavour vehicle for soy sauce or satay or whatever

Bobstar posted:Which made me think, is that so unreasonable? I'm down to less than that anyway, without Biden telling me to, having the occasional beef burger as a treat, but lots of delicious chickpea burgers. It's perfectly reasonable, but most people are not at all reasonable. I eat basically no red meat, very little chicken, some fish, but shitloads of prawns, veg, tofu., etc. Seems like a pretty reasonable hierarchy of animal suffering and environmental impact (don't come at me with that seaspiracy poo poo)

Aphex- posted:I haven't seen seaspiracy but I do have a degree in marine biology and know that the seas really are dying thanks to climate change and overfishing. I absolutely hate it when people stop eating beef for environmental reasons but continue to eat fish just as readily. They most certainly are, that's not the seaspiracy stuff I take issue with. And again, I eat a lot less fish, maybe once a fortnight from Sustainable Seafood Ireland, and Dublin Bay prawns. No argument that humanity's relationship to the sea is just as rapacious as every other biome
