I wonder if you could use this thing for vr. It meets the minimum specs for HL:Alyx, strap this onto your belt and plug in an oculus quest and you might have something

Fantastic Foreskin posted:Not that I put much stock into interviews, but Gabe said the idea was not so much to be profitable on the device as it was to create/popularize the device category, with the hope that other manufacturers get into the game. PC gaming is good for Valve, so if they can get people to look for and buy a device like this instead of a switch or phone games they come out a winner in the long term. That is absolutely a lie, because there are several manufacturers already producing pc-based handhelds and this is going to destroy all of them

Sony shot themselves on the foot by not iterating on the dock they made for the psp go The vita was supposed to have one, but the go's dock didn't sell well (because the go sold like poo poo (because it was directly competing with three other Sony handhelds)) so they never put it into production When the switch was announced all they would have had to do was start including the dock and controller with new vitas, except the new vita didn't have the dock port anymore since nothing was using it

I always give rumble a chance. Most games prove themselves unworthy and I turn it off after the first ten minutes, but a few use it right. Hollow Knight on the switch is really good, when you're sliding down a wall it actually feels like the controller is rubbing against a rough surface
