What are the goon approved supplies for KN95 and N95 masks?

I trust only the collective wisdom.

KN95 = https://bonafidemasks.com/face-masks/
KF94 = https://behealthyusa.net/collections/masks
N95 = https://www.grainger.com/search/saf...5&filters=attrs

There are others but there's a starting point.

Edit: Check the "MASK UP" tab in this doc for more options. It's mostly about respirators (hint hint) but there are disposable masks further down in the "Other Maks" section. Plenty of options there.

Vaccines take a couple of months to be effective and the ones we have right now are about 50/50 with Delta. Mask them young-uns up ASAP.

What is the recommended N95 mask from Grainger?

Actually this one from the Google doc is the one I see posted the most:

If anyone else has a specific N95 to recommend let's hear it.

The 8 month window is 100% entirely because we are about 8 months out from the initial mass rollout and they are terrified of news articles about widows unable to find an appointment because sickos who got the jab in March want some juice.

I wonder how many people are gonna go "gently caress this" and not get the booster and just sorta give up instead.

I know several people that already had their "gently caress this" moment when they were told to mask up again. "If I still have to wear a mask then what was the point of me getting vaccinated?""

Food supply chains are getting back to the level they were in the May 2020 timeframe. Meat is scarce, way more expensive and lower quality than I have ever seen.

The takeout ribs I got last week were spare ribs because they took babybacks off the menu due to supply and quality issues (this is a pretty big restaurant chain, so they have supply chain clout, presumably). What is worse, I am pretty sure I got to taste boar taint for the first time - the ribs were nasty, and this place usually makes great ribs.

Beans are back on the menu.

If anyone wants to dial back on meat now's a good time to give that a shot.
Also, buy a rice cooker.

does anyone else know anyone who still uses cloth masks? I know a couple people who do and it’s just…. motherfuckin WHY?????

Literally everyone in my office. Explanations include:
  • Well I've been wearing it this whole time and I'm still not sick.
  • That's all we could get at first.
  • Why would I use a disposable mask when I have a perfectly good reusable one.
  • They're more convenient to fold up and keep in a purse/pocket.
But everyone in my office still takes their masks off at their desks and pulls them down to sip coffee in crowded meetings.
