Having never played maddening, I always appreciate Byleth's solid growths because she's one of the few CF characters that can really take a hit, the other three being El, Ferdie, and Petra (she can't take a hit but she won't get hit). The rest of the crew feels REALLY flimsy, but then my Caspars have always sucked. Fortunately with DLC and creative recruiting you can close those tanky gaps, but it always felt like the achilles heel of the CF team and why Byleth feels so pivitol here.FrozenPhoenix71 posted:She also has a better design vs loser Guyleth. Hubert and Bernie surprised me by becoming one of my favorite couples in the game. I absolutely love their supports.

For whatever reason I just use dancer for sword avoid +20 and well Petra is easily the best candidate for that. Solves the CF frontliner issue since with it pretty much every enemy has at best a 20% chance to hit her, usually closer to 0.

I never had a problem with Linhardt's spell list. He's a solid healer and warp is always great. Sure he's stuck as a Bishop but I never felt that was too bad. Well until Hapi was added who is just Linhardt but better since she can be a gremory.

Yeah until her FEH art came out I legit just thought her hair was light green, so the Rhea thing was a massive nonreveal to me, but nope her hair is intended to be different. They just used hues that look totally green in that scene.
