The Gov of CO has blanket declared that living in Colorado constitutes risk factors sufficient to get a booster so everybody should go get one. So at this point I think the bar for risk factors is pretty generous.

Well poo poo, no wonder I can't find a list of who gets it. Guess I'll register for a booster for my next blood draw

This is even worse the dumber-than-poo poo hot takes saying that "oh we should have a veteran on set, only military vets are safe enough / know enough about weapons to be safe." :downs:

If there were a cop on set the death toll would be higher, so maybe anti-gun boy there should just retire since is too senile to think

Hell yeah. I remember seeing it by myself opening weekend because the trailers looked cool. Honestly surprised it wasn't more popular.

The reason everyone seemed to skip Edge of Tomorrow is that everyone described it as "groundhog day in space" and, because people apparently forgot that groundhog day is really good, they blew it off.

This was discussed in the article pantsless posted at the start of the thread. It sounds like Pence refused to leave the building and... honestly, I find it hard to fault him for that.

I find it easy, but its one of those "bad call based on a good reason" in theory, if he was staying out of solidarity.

IIRC (might have been someone else that day), they said the reason they didn't leave is that by leaving or ceding the building to the insurrectionists, it would give them credibility or make it far more likely to succeed as it had in other coup scenarios. Sure maybe they are just saying that after the fact to save face but it makes sense on some level.

Oh god, I completely forgot about that part :smith:

To be fair, he couldn’t do anything until the bill passed which it only did last weekend. And even then, how many individual projects require his signature within the first few days of the bill going into law?

with a minimum of planning, a shitton.

like, day one should have given him carpal tunnel, because everything was already pre-written, reviewed, etc etc

thats why I said with a minimum of planning, but its funny how gop politicians seem to have poo poo lined up and waiting for say, a judge who is pro-life to take the bench, but dems never have time/funds/whatever for a major national role to be prepared for a role defining bill to pass.

I'm still amazed by this. Not only the accuracy, but how it came from an era where most future predictions bordered on Star Trek levels of naïve optimism.

The 90s, the era where teens just thought suicide was the coolest loving things, was absolutely full of dystopian future predictions. We looked at blade runner and decided that was the optimistic prediction.

Fair enough, though I still seem to recall how picking up any vaguely techy magazine or science textbook in 90's would shower you in predictions about how we were going to have Mars colonies by 2010 and how we all were going to enjoy Better Living Through Technology.

You don't have to be a chud to take chud money friend. *Well, as reputable as any of those business can be at least.
