It's my first campaign and I'm playing mostly blind so far, but I'm going to use the lessons learned next time.

I would be OK with the offensive ambush stance being removed altogether, tbh. Maybe in limited circumstances, or tied to terrain, say only in home provinces, but ambush basically wipes out any army that isn't all-cav or relies on ranged or artillery for effectiveness. Which is fine if they lay a trap, but having no defence against it just suuuuuuuucks.

Thankfully this time Kairos only sniped one of my supporting kings and not Best Girl Khalida herself, but those soul caskets were neither cheap nor easily replaceable. :smith:

What is the best way to fight Festus as Isabella? I am bad at this game, and my go-to approach of "send in all the vampires, wait for enemy to collapse, have bats chase down the stragglers" no longer works.
