Rotisserie chicken process for us is to debone the chicken right away. The bones go into the instant pot along with the closest to expiration contents of the vegetable crisper drawer. Add some salt, an onion, seasonings, whatever, and make some stock. Couple hours later when it's done, put that in the fridge to use later.

The chicken then gets refrigerated and used through the week. Added to salads, quesadillas, soups, curries, whatever.

Give a piece or two of the chicken (no bones!) to the dog, because he is a good boy who loves this chicken prep ritual.

Has anyone bought a car through Costco? I really need to get a car and have little time and not a lot of money, and at a glance it looks like they could be a helpful resource. Anyone have experience using them?

My parents did. The arrangement is that there's a Costco member price list in a big binder that is agreed up on by Costco and the dealer.
First dealer they went to, the dude said "OK, sure, let's walk around the lot and look at a few cars to see what you like first and then we'll talk Costco pricing". They got bad vibes from him and walked.
Second dealer they went to, the guy immediately took them back to an office, opened up the binder, and it was a very straightforward menu of cars and total out the door prices. They were done in like 2 hours.

As far as the pricing goes, it is "pretty good". Experienced negotiators prepared with lots of information can do better than the Costco negotiated pricing. The average buyer will typically do much worse than the Costco pricing.
I feel like it's a lot like buying produce at Costco. Consider a bag of onions.
The most expensive option is "regular price" at the grocery store. The giant bag of onions at Costco is going to be cheaper than that. Buying from a restaurant supply type place is the next cheaper option. A store's doorbuster weekly special with extreme coupon stacking will be cheapest of all, but has limited availability and requires good timing, patience and more work from you.

If you're not a sophisticated negotiator and/or you don't want to spend your whole Saturday min/maxing with a 23 year old sales guy to save another $2k and try to beat the Edmunds high score then it's a great option.

When we took a pilgrimage out of state to the gigantic Costco combined business center in Salt Lake City we snapped a bunch of pictures of the great selection of halal foods for our Muslim neighbor at home. She was very impressed and simultaneously annoyed that our local Costco didn't carry anything like that.

I only flew with a carry-on on that trip so the logistics of bringing home a whole refrigerated goat didn't work out.

When in the UK, eat the foods that have come from the former colonies. If you can't get a good curry there, you're doing a lot wrong.

Also, Yorkshire pudding, and haggis kick rear end. So you're not even really restricted to Indian cuisine.

Yeah there's plenty of good stuff there, like pasties! Steak, potatoes and gravy in a pastry shell, can't screw that up. Same story with sausage rolls.
Lot of great desserts too, like trifle, jelly rolls, pretty much anything made with currant.
German cuisine also rightly gets mocked, but the snacky street food also slaps. Currywurst, brats doused in grilled onions and sauerkraut, pretzels with mustard, etc.

Ketchup-y beans as part of breakfast must be an acquired taste though.

Sometimes you learn to hate something not from the content, but the fans. Like I might have given Rick and Morty a chance if I didn't have "that guy" try to tell me about it.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎
