From the content I’m seeing showing off the early access, domain seems to be powerful enough that the common duals seem superior to the rare painlands in draft. How odd. Also the Thran portal is hot garbage.

I’d include the Stall for time, maybe the Blasts (it hits for at least 3), maybe even the Cavalier because it’s just good, even if no synergy (though it’ll be one of the first things I’d cut) ? I think I’d also consider black before green and red. Not just for the kicker on the vortex, but also because of the repossessions (you have few creatures and look! It’s a spell!), the tributes, extinguish, the apparition… maybe even the vampires, they’re also flyers, but at two black pips, they’re kinda annoying to pay for. So we’ve got blue, a tiny bit of white, a bit more black, this allows us maybe to add in Elas as a removal magnet (but in your off colors and little synergy, probably not) and Rona, who is also a blue permanent that likes spells. As for lands, huh, you’re not very lucky, but the UW land goes in, and maybe a couple BG and/or UG lands for the off chance of a kicker on repossession and Exploration?

Well, there it is! My first sealed trophy in DMU! And 7-0 to boot! I'm not sure how it worked given the wonky mana base but wow. Game after game of easily overwhelming opponents, blasting away Serra's Parangons and poo poo. I felt like my card pool was weak, but apparently spending some time actually evaluating the cards instead of just mashing together two colors that look strong seems to be pretty effective!

Hey friends please be aware that Phyrexian Fleshgorger, the mythic black prototype card, is bugged as heck. It has ward: pay life equal to its power, but if you choose to pay that cost, you actually will pay twice that amount. Some dude who was at 10 life just died paying the ward cost to target my 7/5 version, and I saw Jim Davis getting got as well during the early access. Edit: otoh if you’re bad at drafting or sealed, then if you see the gorger maybe jump on the occasion and get yourself a full refund?

Okay, quick rules question for our resident judges. I tried to take control of an equipped Transmogrant's Crown using Sibling Rivalry. The game allowed me to target the artifact, but when it resolved all I got was the powerstone. Is this normal? Or should I submit a bug report (for a game I eventually won, but still)?

Ah, I hadn't noticed I could equip the thing! I hadn't thought of that. All right then, thanks for the precision. That would have meant winning one turn earlier. I gotta admit, when BR sac comes together in draft, it really comes together. I'm at 5-0 so far with this beast of a deck:  I have no idea how it happened, but I somehow missed a P2P1 Junkyard Genius and the motherfucker wheeled. Got passed a P1P2 and a P2P3 Remorse, too. edit : hidden cards are Powerstone Fracture x2 and Gixian Skullflayer.

Obviously Mondrak, Glory Dominus should go well with Dollhouse of Horrors. I’m also thinking Gala Greeters, perhaps something with powerstones too, probably also Brutal Cathar. Maybe also some red to take care of the discard part with Fable and Big Score? Cityscape Leveler? Titan of Industry ? Wedding Announcement? Jetmir for the meme? I dunno I’m not good at deckbuilding.

Just cast Atraxa on t3. Play Goldhound, pass. Land, play double Sticky Fingers, attack. Land, attack, Atraxa on second main. Opponent scoops. Certainly not the most conservative line but worth it. I love how this thread offers hilarious secret tech every so often.

For MWM I lucked out into a quandrix (ug) fractals deck, with three copies of Serpentine Curve and plenty of lessons. The opponents were nt very good though, I mean who the hell runs WB Dramatic Finale AND the RW thing that gives double strike on attack?

Aftermath has no commons, though. I'm thinking that for draft purposes, the packs in Arena will be MOM packs with the Aftermath uncommons, rares and mythics interspersed in. Much like Alchemy, really.

Here's an annoying thing going on in Arena. I'm checking my collection and find out that there are common, uncommon and rare cards I have no copy of (Essence of Orthodoxy, Interdisciplinary Mascot and so on). It turns out that these are cards from the paper Jumpstart packs - not the arena Jump In packs - and that there is no apparent way to get them in game, unless I burn wildcards. The mastery track will give me copies of commander cards when I get to these rewards, but are those Jumpstart cards (that are not even legal in standard) going to remain a hole in my set collection?

Stensia Uprising is slow but can generate several tokens over a few turns. Swarming Goblins (from AFR) can come into play with 1, 2 or 3 goblin tokens. Burn Down the House can make 3 devil tokens Muxus can bring in a bunch of reinforcements in a dedicated goblin deck
