When I search for “bird” in photos I get some pictures of things that aren’t birds. Is there a way to help train the ai by telling it there are no birds in the picture?

The only good thing about Brave on iOS is that you can add YouTube videos to the “Brave Playlist” thing which then lets you play videos with the screen off. This is immensely useful for me because a lot of content I “watch” on YouTube apparently would be better off as just audio podcasts and this kinda lets me do that.

I think it makes perfect sense that it works the way you described it. From the housemate's phone's perspective, there's an AirTag following her around. From your phone's perspective, it's perfectly fine. I don't think your phone and your housemate's phone communicate to let each other know it's cool, and imo they shouldn't be communicating.

When I plug my iPhone into a pc it asks if I want to give the pc access to my photos and videos and poo poo. For this particular pc my answer is always no. How do I make the iPhone remember my answer?

I think nowadays setting up a new phone can be done phone to phone or something. One of the phones will display a weird 3D QR like thing (but it’s not QR) and you use the other phone to take a picture of it and then it just works.

Is Dark Mode suppose to switch off when the Sleep Alarm goes off? I just started using the Sleep Alarm and noticed it’s been doing that, even though it’s still dark out (and according to Weather.app the sun didn’t rise for another 1+ hours). I have Dark Mode set to auto from Sunset to Sunrise.

I still haven’t figured out the automatic sunset to sunrise dark mode. I have both dark mode and night shift set to automatic sunset to sunrise. Night shift turns off at sunrise when expected, but dark mode turns off when I pick up my phone at 5 loving 30 am when everything is still dark. I’ve changed it to something sensible like 7pm to 7am now but it’s annoying why it doesn’t work as advertised.

Are there any good reviews/previews of the next version of iOS? I just got an email from da froot company telling me to check out the new public betas but I haven’t really been paying attention and wanna know what I’m getting into. I used to be so excited for new iOS but I feel like starting some years ago iOS has been more or less feature complete for me so I no longer get excited.

Apple can blacklist the phone via its IMEI number or whatever so that it can never be activated again on a carrier. The hypothetical thief pointing their gun at you wouldn’t know this happened but the scrub who bought the used phone would find it to be nothing more than a paperweight the moment they stuck their SIM card in it.

So when you go to your doctor with your digital insurance card, are they set up to just scan it or do you need to hand your phone over to them? They prolly take it a copier and scan it? And the digital licenses, same question? Do you need to hand your phone over to the guy to verify your age? Cause there is absolutely no way that I’m ever handing over my phone to someone.
