Day 4: I hate to see Wakatakakage lose a match but 4/5 ain't bad. My brand of sumo is to win by any means necessary.

Ichiyamamoto had a rough start, hopefully he keeps up the momentum!

in Juryo, Enho had a great match today and Hokuseiho looked great. Does having a tall heavy dude lean on you really tire you out that much?

Day 5:Is Abi unstoppable? It seems like if you can't get a grip on him he's just going to shove you out. Just completely embarrassed my man Wakatakakage.

Oh Mr. Mustard is a way better name. I hope he comes back.

Also love the grinning applauder. He's having such a good time.

I've seen a poster of kimarite with illustration and the phonetic + translation of the move. Is there a poster size .pdf of that or just a poster I can buy? My cube at work is turning into the SUMOZONE, and this would help immensely.

Day 10: Wakatakakage looking like poo poo this basho. Granted he could sweep the last 5 days but looking at his bouts so far I think the rest are going to be against sanyaku dudes so it's definitely looking like MK is a possibility.

I don't know if Tochinoshin counts, but I like his little gremlin walk.

I like Onosho because he tucks a little salt in his mawashi, but he's doing pretty well so he doesn't count.

Day 2: onosho, wakatakakage and Ichiyamamoto disappointed me today, but good wins out of Takayasu, Wakamotoharu and hokuseiho.

Takakeisho looked better today, hoping he doesn't lose his feet anymore and goes 14-1!

I predict the waka brothers swapping ranks.

I think Shodai of the frictionless feet will make a return in week 2.

lol, my poor team. What I Bellerive is happening with Ichiyamamoto and Wakatakakage this basho: I think WTK is recovering from a broken/ bruised rib, and he's trying not to aggravate it by getting in close. Then i took a calculated risk on Ichiyamamoto performing well in mid-maegashira and that's not paying off.

I noticed someone, Onosho I think it was, tuck a little salt into their mawashi before the bout. I've never seen that before, is that a thing? Anyway it was perfect for him specifically because it was right into the little pocket between the mawashi and his belly button.

He does that every time and it's why I always pick him for my team. Sometimes it poofs out at the tachiai.

Day 5: Asanoyama is doing well in the first part of his schedule, even if that match with Kotoeko should've been Torinaoshi.

Onosho doing average, as he does. keep tucking that salt my dude!

Kinbozan struggling at his career high rank, hopefully he can recover in week 2 for a KK.

Wakamotoharu: Zensho-Yusho? props to Abi on the assist giving Daiesho a loss today.

Terunofuji: first time watching him fight, big fan of him locking up and muscling out smaller guys and making big boys fall down with seemingly effortless grace.

WMH v Teru is going to be a tough match for me
