I went to e3 the year that twilight princess trailer was shown it was cool to see on a big screen, also got to play the ds before release and I saw gaben give a hl2 preview. It was a fun time, I also ate a street hotdog and got a bunch of bawls energy drink for free, 10/10 would game again .

A friend snuck me into E3 in 2005, and it was the 25th anniversary of Pac-Man, so I got chocolate Pac-Man cake at the Namco booth. It was pretty great. I was super interested in 'World of Mana' (which would turn out to be a brand name for the mid-2000s Mana revival) and Tales of Legendia, but literally nobody at either booth knew the first things about them. They were just advertising the marketing materials and shrugging if you tried to inquire. I think I still have somewhere a bunch of marketing materials for Wiki, an MMO that was sued into oblivion for being visually identical to Wind Waker. That's my E3 story thanks for listening.
