Nonsense posted:the reckoning will be against Joe Biden's incompetent administration. The banks made out like bandits, and the politics of it will be glorious for the people who seek to do great harm to the poor No matter what the fed/treasury did the chuds were going to take the exact opposite opinion. It doesn’t loving matter because it’s all a game where none of us get to play in it but are expected to choose a side and be outraged.

Gonna sell my house I bought two years ago for a hefty profit and gtfo of the US I honestly don’t think the fed is going to back down and pays rate increases or reverse them. Powell is out for blood and the only blood the ruling class wants is from poor and middle class which is apparent with how quickly they moved to protect the rich over the weekend. God forbid they eat poo poo for once. We gave them all that COVID money too while everyone else got peanuts. Glumwheels has issued a correction as of 17:26 on Mar 13, 2023 |

The government/Biden is trying to suppress the fact that food prices, consumables etc are going up and quantity/amount is shrinking. We all know it’s happening and are pissed but there’s no discussion or analysis in the media and Biden is pretending the economy is strong because jobs jobs jobs. All services have gone way up too (yard, automotive, etc). Everything we buy has gone up by 10-20% and prices vary wildly by store in some cases. Gas has also not changed in weeks here which is odd, I was anticipating it to drop but Costco is keeping it high where we live and idk why. Seems like some funny bullshit is going on with them. The Costco in the next town over is already dropping it by .15 so idk what is going on.

Making dough does not require a special kitchen set up. I make an aged pizza dough (sits in the fridge 48 hours) and it’s pretty good with limited ingredients but if you’re lazy Trader Joe’s has a decent pizza dough too. I do use a kitchen aid mixer for it but you don’t have to and you don’t need any other special equipment for it. I put the dough balls in ziploc bags vs plastic containers the recipe calls for.

Wow, what they’re saying is these tourist destinations only want a limited number of rich assholes to come visit. Poors and middle class should just stay home, toil away at their jobs and never travel. Banning cruise ships in Venice is actually a good thing but creating bullshit timed fees and bookings and such is not the same. Airline prices to Europe are astronomical this summer, ridiculously overpriced for worse service. My salary didn’t increase to cover the dramatic increase/inflation and so it’s only going to get more expensive. These prices are never coming down again either so at some point travel will just be for the extremely wealthy. Not sure how airline survive with that model but good luck!

As long as it juices revenue now, they'll have their bonuses and stock options and golden parachute. The rest is the next executive's problem. (They'll just boost revenue for a couple quarters too) Then they’ll get bailed out by governments! How much loving money did governments give airlines during COVID? I’m sure it’s a result of them losing so many pilots and stewardesses due to dropping precautions and also the vaccine requirements. Whose fault is that? They dropped precautions and people didn’t want to work and those who did got sick and couldn’t work

It makes no sense to pay so much for mediocre sushi or whatever when it costs as much to go just a bit farther away and to nicer places. Across the board, eating out (much like travel) is becoming far too expensive.
