yeah the poster rushing in to claim stolen valor over authorship of the Riven sexual assault discord simulator really acted like Bees was some insane gaslghting stalker determined to smear the name of their discord 24 hour always on role-play community

I can only imagine several people would have agreed the same for the sake of the game and insisting that Bees was ruining/spoiling the plot by sharing information in another discord

The fact that people in this game would mock other people whose boundaries they've overstepped is, at minimum, deeply crass and unsavory.

Especially for what seems like essentially discord larping, if the whole "24/7" thing about it is true, then there's no disconnect from the game experience it basically becomes a lived habit that can mess with you psychologically

I think you are being an rear end in a top hat and how you are talking about this shifts the blame a bit on the people who came forward. Like I don't totally disagree that this whole 24/7 RP thing isn't "freak poo poo" on some level, but so is looking at birds through binoculars or whatever. You are just making it sound like the people who got hurt should have known better at this point.

Explain how a single player video game has comparable consent issues with a group dynamic 24/7 role play game.
