yeah the latest pathfinder games are essentially 2 completely different games based on how high you want to take the difficulty.

Story mode is fine, pretty easy so long as you don't make the worst possible character builds

Up to normal mode, it's a decent challenge, you do want properly built characters, but you don't need to be perfect every single combat with buff timing.

Core mode is where it adds extra enemy effects & abilities that can ruin your day if you aren't planning around them, you have to be using most of if not all your abilities to squeeze out the extra damage and defense. Example would be that the game had high level feats for bonuses to mage armor but not regular armor, so the optimal strategy for literally everyone was to take those abilities and use potions of mage armor rather then wearing actual armor.

Hard and up, to unfair, is basically just a massive numbers boost to the enemy, and combat is either you kill the enemy in less then 3 rounds, usually with a single attack each time, or you're going to get wiped.

To my understanding, breadnsucc wiped his history and posts because the charges finally came to judicial attention and he feared that his posts would be used to discount the severity of the PBs� actions (firing into a crowd of medics). It turned out that even without his posts, the PBs can get away with anything in Oly. All charges were dropped.

It wasn�t for several more weeks that the shooting clash happened, and by then, the PBs� emboldened partly by their Oly victory� were ready to get away with more. Obviously the story is garbled, but the things I�m fairly confident in the details of are as follows:

�The PBs cornered an independent journalist and dragged them by their hair, apparently intending grave harm
�The group that attempted to intervene included breadnsucc, who apparently shot Tiny in the leg.

I don�t know breadnsucc personally at all. I do know that if someone fired at my team, shot me, and walked, and then I saw them dragging another team member by their hair and brandishing guns, I probably wouldn�t have aimed for their knees.

It's one of those crazy things where a ton of people basically out themselves as having never once in their life been around firearms or firearms safety because they kept trying to insist firing into the distance off camera isn't really that bad.

There was also the insanely lame attempt to drag TFR into it by bringing up the pumpkin guy, who was literally ran out of TFR after 2-3 posts and told never to come back by pretty much everyone.

i just reviewed all the reports on doorknob slobber and breadnsucc and they're a mostly solid combo of probations (including a month-long 'please stop being insane tia' probe from crusty nutsack) and miscs where it was either just general cspam frothing or a misunderstanding. i did see a few that were misced by a former mod which should imo have been treated more firmly but it's not correct that they were being routinely ignored.

there is also a wider context of walking a line between stopping psycho bloodlust posting and acknowledging that people want a cop-free place to vent. I feel there's less of the former these days.

As always, if you don't think reports are doing what they should then pm a mod or admin.

The SC thread has always had a sideline in pushing back at groupthink, so this doesn't feel totally unfitting. Even though I'm sure we'd all rather everything was cool, and to just be joking about SC. And I'm sure I'll get called an rear end in a top hat and worse for raising any of it at all.

Another probe for derailing is all fine. (Any serious/comedy claims of transphobia less so, but so it goes.)

the thing about people like that is the simplest, easiest solution, to fix the headboard-wall issue is secondary to the fact that forcing other people to hear them having sex is a deliberate choice on their part.

strange that account lasted 2 months, and nearly 1/2 the posts from that account were in that E/N thread that was bragging about the loud sex, like that was pretty much the only reason to post

One of the perks to having your own apartment is being able to have loud sex whenever you want, but when you've repeatedly heard a small child crying after being woken up by it and your response is "lmao" then the doormat isn't the only place there's a pile of human poo poo in that space.

Was there a joke post about a goon insisting he and his wife quarantine separately? I know there were some insanely weird stories around 2020 when the panic was in full force like the "frozen exhalations" guy thinking he was getting covid from ice cream.

One actually showed a maskless guy opening the vat of ice cream and sticking his face up to the opening to take a big whiff, all his personal air freezing onto the product. A lot of camera shots featured masks. But over 50% dicknosers. So many dicknosers.

I handled someone's frozen exhalations today. I tasted it so it definitely made it to my olfactory bulb. The risk is small, but unknown. Food factories are famous for outbreaks. The manufacture date on the box did not bring relief: Feburary 2021, hello newer strains. For a year I have washed every surface of every grocery and other object entering my front door to keep COVID out of our house for our cats. If all that was futile because of a bonbon I'm gonna be mad.

For future reference re: dissenting opinions on the active COVID threads, I think it'd be more productive to have a better counter to "it's not al like that" than telling the person to gently caress off or whatever. The deadly bon bons and dog bricking posters ate bans because they did stick out above the sea of nonsense chatter and white noise.

They were funny/horrifying moments, and if there's more amusing bits to have a passing laugh at, I'm fine with them getting linked here. If there's horrifying, gross, or depressive stuff that's not being stopped, I can take it to the mods or admins because I find that poo poo intolerable. Or bring it another mod/admin, or post them in SAD so they can be acted on.

The dog bricker required a thread in QCS because it was only a minor probe, and like clockwork it devolved into the "concern trolls/crew" arguements.
