Sorry Texans (not that sorry though), I sure know how it feels to draft a hopelessly bad QB in the first round https://twitter.com/ProFootballTalk/status/1649856219782193154

Barring injuries this is probably all upside, Walker Little is better and this keeps the Jags from being dumb and extending Robinson (whose dead money clears after this year)

tbh I'm low-key glad about this signing and the Big Jeff extension, because I think this offseason was the last one that the Titans could feasibly blow everything up and start a true rebuild while still getting good value for their trade assets and they clearly didn't

Happy to see them go 9-8 or so for a couple years before only starting their rebuild in 2025

Because they know the ol' Minshew Magic will make their drafting look bad if they give him an opening

Thats not a high bar to clear. Who has been standing out? Anyone that will make the actual roster?
Calvin Ridley, Christian Kirk, Zay Jones and Jamal Agnew are all roster locks

Parker Washington is the backup return guy to Agnew, does other special teams stuff, has incredibly sure hands and was a draft pick and is also probably a lock

Leaves the Jaguars with 4 really good players for one spot.

Tim Jones is the most "obvious" choice, he's a good special teamer and blocker

Elijah Cooks and Jacob Harris are a pair of really athletic, fast 6'4 big body guys who have both flashed, Cooks tore up the Lions today. If they go with Jones, I wouldn't be shocked if neither of them cleared waivers

Kevin Austin Jr. and Kendrick Pryor are both 4.4 dudes who have done good things in camp but haven't really flashed in preseason games

Those are the most noteworthy ones

Tennessee: worst QB room in the division? it's more likely than you think

Honestly think even with Richardson (or with Minshew if he's out for while), if the Colts defensive front 7 continues to look that good, they could easily come in second in the division

it's also worth noting that the Jaguars defense has several faults, but I think their run defense is gonna be really stout all year
