I've been using my phone as a 4G hotspot as my only internet for years. Everything in the flat that needs a connection goes through it and me and my partner are often using it simultaneously streaming different things and whatever. Seems to work fine, and is usually even faster than wired internet in my experience. As long as you're not somewhere super rural it's fine. We've had a couple of occasions where it's shat the bed for a few days when they've been working on nearby masts, but you can plan for that by having an alternative sim running a different network. Why can't we just have BT running the whole thing with all the masts and near 100% coverage? gently caress you, that's why.

If you actually believe that every single Brexit voter was a big dumb racist as opposed to someone deeply unhappy with the status quo falling for the false promises of superficial but essentially unchallenged populist rhetoric out of desperation then I think you're probably a lib dem centrist dad or at the very least quite silly. It's a good case study for how generally decent people can be coerced into supporting extremism by proxy via ideological media hegemony etc though, I guess. I think in that sense it should actually be far more troubling than if every Brexiteer was a card carrying national front member. E: which is not to say that there weren't decent reasons for distrusting the EU, but the lexit brigade played right into the hands of the enemy in the context of Brexit

I've not been posting much recently because I've started a new job. It involves going over to Northern Ireland pretty frequently and after a few days between Belfast and rural Antrim what the actual gently caress are you guys on over there. Every bloody town decked out like the gaudiest coronation party going, union jacks on every lamppost, actual UVF flags flying every few feet. And the weirdest bit is everyone's just going about the place without batting an eye. Absolutely insane corner of the country.

The news is just openly saying she killed the babies by injecting them with air and insulin etc but how do you even prove that this long after the fact if there was no initial autopsy done.
