most of the caffeine in coffee is extracted during the first ten seconds so if you�re waiting more than that for a cup you�re wasting your time

if you�re curious about cat poo poo coffee, look for beans processed via �carbonic maceration� or some other low oxygen fermentation method. pretty tasty!

had to fix the bunn grinder today, no idea what was wrong probably a little rock or stick bound up in the burrs. a few seconds of vigorous wiggling and grinding and whatever it was shot out with a satisfying thunk

reminds me, i once had coffee from beans that were �aged� in old burbon casks and it was vile. grinding it stank like an old still, and it tasted about the same.

It's fun to try beans you haven't tried before. I understand it is the base for most instant coffees but has anyone ever bought Robusta beans? I don't recall ever seeing non-Arabica unground beans advertised for sale.

get a can of cafe du monde at your nearest asian or unusually well stocked western grocery and drink with condensed milk or sweetened egg yolk

beans you might be able to find as well. everything robusta ive seen is marketed almost exclusively to the vietnamese market so start there I guess
