It's trying to be Bushmiller Nancy but is sloppier about it so nothing hits very well. Re: Flash discourse, I like that so far Azura's motivation seems mostly to be "in it for shits and giggles." She could be part of the evil plan, she could just be letting chaos happen for its own sake.

Re: Alison, I don't actually think the quality of his work has been suffering- the Conan strip was fun right up until he was told to pull it. I think he does have issues with Endings and losing patience with things. Like I was even enjoying the Lottie-manages-a-boy-band arc until it very suddenly stopped. It's like he lacks confidence in his ideas and without a lot of immediate feedback or success he tends to wipe the board clean and go for the eternal promise of Something Else. And I think anyone who creates knows the feeling. It's the sort of issue there's no obvious answer for, sadly, short of someone signing him for a steady external gig.

Okay the thing is, in this age of social media and whatnot, your brand is how you are presented to others, and why they follow/pay attention to you. If you're just a blank slate, full of potential, why should I pay attention to that? You'll end up being something. Good for you. Of course Luann likely doesn't care about that, but that's the thing, you don't need to worry about your "brand" if you're not seeking popularity/views/interactions/etc. Of course Luann also wants to be a writer so maybe she should start thinking about getting a brand. Why will people read the writing of a "blank slate"? TL,DR: This plotline sucks, it's not funny, it's not leading to anything, nuke the site from orbit it's the only way to be sure, etc.
