Found this today to read some old rpg manuals and show my son the game manual for mario. It's a reddit where someone compiled thousands of game manuals and then sorted them and uploaded them online.

Also in the summer of 2004 my high school De La Salle in New Orleans hired me and two other friends to design and keep up their website. To do this they had to give us full access to their network. So we did the job and also installed something, I can't remember what it was called now, that let us play fighting games and halo online and against each other on any computer in the computer lab. They stopped paying us once the school year began and made us keep working on the website because they turned our job into a class. We spent the entire year not working on the website out of protest and just playing poo poo like Garou: Mark of the Wolves

Going after piracy is so dumb. Time after time, study after study has shown that most folks will just buy stuff if you make it reasonably priced and convenient. And also that the people that pirate the most are usually the ones that buy the most poo poo overall.

And they don't go after people unless it's either to make an example or if you are downloading a ton of poo poo all the time, and also making a profit off it like reselling it. Like those places that were reselling firesticks with all the stuff pre-installed on it.

that is 100 percent incorrect. It's sucker punch's best game easily, the story is amazing, the gameplay loop is really fun, it's beautiful, hell it's got probably the most subtle romance in any game and from another angle you don't even view it that way.

it was a bunch of rpgs for steam like Wasteland 3, Avernum 1-6, Deathtrap Dungeon, Age of Decadence , Blade of Darkness, Outward, Gothic 1-3 and Black Geyser.

Thinking back there are some games that I remember liking when they came out but now I don't care about at all and can't play. At the top of the list is Bioshock.

It started with just the setting not appealing to me as much anymore but then when Bioshock Infinite tied everything together with their last dlc it honestly just made me so apathetic to the entire series.

Yall have any series that aged really poorly for you?

Yeah, I gotta say Mass Effect as well. I used to be obsessed with it back in the day, but now it just exists.

I think it's less the ending and more that I've since then gone through a lot of sci-fi media and going back to Mass Effect it feels so limited and weirdly constrained.

You know a lot of games from that time period are hard to go back to because developers got this idea that I didn't want to play a game and they put as much poo poo as they could to get between me staying the game and actual gameplay
