I think what I'm most curious about now is where he's going to go from here, tbh. Will he come clean? Will he keep roleplaying as an Asian woman? Is he gonna pivot to another character entirely and try to rebuild a following elsewhere? Just one of those things you'd love to see from the inside and understand from all angles, but you never will. Cannot imagine how much mental effort went into keeping all the details straight and roleplaying with himself across multiple accounts.

Everyone else is like "haha, you're the best, teach, i trust you with my life" but dude just loving loathes you and in fact the way everyone else trusts you makes him even MORE suspicious of you. Yeah the A-support kinda abruptly goes to him saying he'd devote his life to you if he could, even after the two prior supports were mostly about plotting the best way to kill your rear end but you still get the feeling he's constantly keeping an eye on you. In Three Hopes he admits that he was fully ready to kill your rear end at any given moment. I just think every single video game should have at least one Guy Who Hates Your Guts Unless You Devote Your Time To Softening Him Up A Bit And Even Then You're On Thin loving Ice. I understand video games are power fantasies to some degree, I like it when people are nice to me in video games, but I think it's arguably a lot more effective when you have a crew member just WAITING for an excuse to stab you.

10 pages late to the dbd discussion re: pride flags on meat hooks, but one thing you may not understand is that the dead by daylight community is incredibly noxious. some of the worst and most entitled people alive in gaming. thus I take small joys where I can. sometimes that means making sure the horrible little goblins being placed on meat hooks understand that the pinhead currently ruining their fun is a proud lesbian got called homophobic slurs in endgame chat once because a guy ate poo poo and died and none of his idiot friends could save him it also leads to really sweet interactions like a survivor gesturing you over and pointing at your pride flag and nodding really eagerly. then you notice the matching flag on their belt. i always let them go when they do this

Ghostface isn't great. Bubba is mid. Cenobite/Pinhead is a pubstomper who falls off at high level. Chucky and Wesker are well regarded as A tier. Sadako is a confusing and conflicting mess with a long and troubled patch history who has had so many reworks no one knows how to play against her or even as her anymore and you will get a different response depending on who you ask. personally my opinion is "most Sadakos play like huge assholes and I don't care what tier she is"

For anyone who is equally confused, I saved you a Google. It just means DCing (e.g. unplugging your Ethernet cord) when your opponent is about to win and you're about to lose. Relevant because W/L counters are a thing, also matchmaking so you can just avoid losing to climb rank.

I haven't tried to play a fighting game in some 15 years and I don't want to claim to be smarter than a game dev or something but I feel like it would be really easy to prevent this phenomenon by simply making it so that if you DC it counts as a loss for you and a win for your opponent. Like that seems like the easy counterplay here and I'm not sure why you wouldn't do that. You could say it makes it easy to throw rank to smurf against newbies but it's also easy to, you know, AFK at your controller

I left a steam review for RE6 that was very short, just a joke saying I liked it basically. Someone went on my profile and saw that I was openly a nonbinary lesbian and said something in the comments like "of course one of You People is defending capcom" or some poo poo, like obvious bait while trying to not be explicit about what he was saying so he couldn't be reported for it. I deleted it and left a comment on his profile in return like "L+your genitals are ugly". i used to get really twisted up about whether people thought the music i listened to was good or bad but i came to the conclusion that i often can't tell what people think is good apart from what people think is bad when it comes to music for whatever reason, unless it's like comically bad. maybe I just have bad taste? i tried to fix that and it didn't do anything. the only thing it did was make me feel bad about listening to things I enjoy. and I didn't like that so I stopped worrying about it so like yeah probably the music I liked and continue to like is bad. no argument there. that's ok though. I like it. and i think enjoying stuff you like is good
