ChatGPT is to language learning what Amazon is to shopping malls in that regard. Why waste time looking for something that you probably aren't going to find at the mall or in a book, when you can basically brute-force your way to the exact thing you're looking for from the comfort of your desktop without any effort at all? How do you know any of that information is true though? I've tried asking ChatGPT about specialised subjects and it has a surface-level understanding at best and just regurgitates total misinformation at worst, all with no indication which is which without prior reliable knowledge. It's a really horrible way to learn anything.
