Worst part was during the scene where Shinji takes schoolwork to Rei’s apartment and they get tangled up and whatnot, some dude yelled, “hell yeah, CP!” and his nasty friends guffawed. what the hell feels like that should get the staff to pause the movie and call them out about it or something perhaps with a record scratch
